Known as Suga by her friends, Shayne Armbrister was diagnosed with lupus in 2015 and discovered that one of the most common active symptoms of lupus is inflammation. She has strived to eliminate the foods she eats that cause inflammation and adapted a diet to help heal herself naturally. We started our June 2019 support group with a brief talk from Shayne on her ideas about nutrition and an anti-inflammatory diet.
