SAN JOSE/SAN DIEGO, Calif., March 3, 2025 – Lupus Foundation of Northern California and Lupus  Foundation of Southern California, two nonprofits committed to working with lupus patients, today announced a merger to enhance their mission and strengthen their impact in the lupus community. 

Together, the LFNC and LFSC will create a new organization, California Lupus Foundation, dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by lupus throughout all of California. With a mission to enhance the quality of life for lupus patients and their families through awareness, education, and advocacy. The  

California Lupus Foundation will be committed to promoting community awareness and supporting lupus research with the ultimate goal of finding a cure.

It marks a transformative moment for the lupus community as we join forces and strengthen our ability to provide critical resources and enhance our advocacy for patients and their families. By uniting our strengths, we will expand our reach and enhance the programs and services we offer. Pending regulatory notices, the merger is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
