Golfers of All Abilities Invited to Play in Tournament at the
Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos

San Diego, CA – May 20, 2019

The Lupus Foundation of Southern California (LFSC) is a patient-oriented, nonprofit group made up primarily of volunteers. On Saturday, June 8, golfers of all abilities will tee off at 1 p.m., a shotgun start, in the Chip in for a Cure! 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the beautiful Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos.

Golfers pay $115 for a round of golf with cart, range balls, putting and on-course contests, dinner, and awards ceremony. Anyone is welcome for just dinner for $25. In addition to the activities of the tournament itself, there will be an opportunity drawing for exciting prizes – winners do not need to be present to claim prizes. All net proceeds will go to benefit the lupus community in the area.

The LFSC is still accepting donations for the drawing and offering a variety of levels of sponsorship, providing businesses with exceptional advertising and promotional options. As a tax-exempt charitable organization, donations are fully tax-deductible.

“It’ll be a fun day for anyone who’d like to get a foursome together and give back to a good cause,” said Gerardo Becerra, President of the LFSC. “Also, this is a perfect opportunity for any business to get their name out to a unique group of people.”

“We invite everyone to join us, no matter how well they play, for a very entertaining day of golf on a great course,” said Doug Jenkins, Event Organizer.
