San Diego, CA – August 5, 2019

The Lupus Foundation of Southern California (LFSC) strives to enhance the quality of life for the local lupus community through awareness, education, and advocacy. On Saturday, October 5 from 1 – 4 p.m., wine lovers are invited to join the LFSC for their 2019 Sip for the Cause wine tasting fundraiser at Gianni Buonomo Vintners in Ocean Beach.

With a small donation of $25.00, attendees will receive a glass of wine, light hors d’oeuvres, an entry to win fantastic wine gift baskets, and a chance to see some of the winemaking process. All net proceeds will go towards lupus education, support group meetings, and community events here in the area.

Tickets are available by calling 858-278-2788 or emailing info@lupussocal.org.

“Our Sip for the Cause wine tasting event will be a great time for anyone who loves good wine,” said Janet Silva, LFSC Director of Community Outreach. “And at the same time you’re enjoying an afternoon outing at an exceptional winery, you’ll be giving back to the lupus community with your valuable donation. This is our second year for this fundraiser at Gianni Buonomo Vintners and we expect this year to be even better.”
